Mom :) "Too bad your Mom is a country girl!" hehehe ~ How about you pay me $5 for every snake I catch for your collection! I think I could handle that!!! :)

When I found out that our Aunt, who lives a couple hundred yards from us, had her own gun for the sole purpose of killing snakes, I knew I would be in for a good many snake encounters when we moved here. The snake population is still at a record level around here, with most (that I can see) being past the 4 foot mark and dark black in color. I have heard them called black snakes and chicken snakes, but don't know just what they really are. They all look remarkablly like the snakes that the Dean Kaisner Family has roaming around their riverside property. The Sauder Children have made quite a dent in them, but at the rate they multiply, we would need about 20 more children to keep the population of snakes down to something bareable. I will gladly employ the mighty Plattner snake hunters anytime. Hey, and bring your Mom too. It's 5 bucks per dead snake no matter how old you are:-) If you want to take them back to your place alive in a box in the front seat of your van like a very brave Kaiser Dad that I know, I'll still pay the 5 bucks, just as long as they leave the property and go far far away.

I'm with Misty on this one, mice, bugs, spiders, I can deal with....snakes....not so much. :)
