Warning: This may be a little too much for someone that gets queasy easy. You’ve been warned!
Sunday evening we had some friends (the Tim Kaiser family) over after supper for a couple hours of fellowship. Some of the children were outside playing kick the can.
Jared came in and said he needed help with a cut on his foot. I did the same thing any wise mother would do ~ I called Daddy to the seen! :) Actually many mother’s probably handle first aid better than I do, but I’ve called Chad home from work more than once to handle a bloody situation!
Chad determined it would need stitches and quickly said goodbye and headed off to Hopedale Medical Center.
The cut was in a very odd place, right between two of his toes and not much underneath his toe. We don’t think it was a cut from stepping on something because of how the cut is. We aren’t for sure what happened but this is what we think may have been the cause.
Jared was barefooted and someone (with shoes) accidentally stepped on his foot on the patio. We think that possibly it stretched the skin so much it split, could have been a small split in the skin already that caused it to split easier. This is all guess work but what we do know is he has 7 stitches and a very sore foot.
It is healing quite nicely and we are caused to remember how fearfully and wonderfully we are made. That our bodies are designed to heal and usually quite quickly. Thank You Lord!

LL - glad to know he's ok and healing nicely; we've wondered. But ohhhh --- ouch! doesn't do it justice. It looks awful!!! I was picturing it UNDER his toes rather than between... how odd. Thanks again for a very nice evening in spite of how it turned out for Jared.
love
Ruth
