A light sleeper

Well, last night wasn't another 8 hour night. Jolene woke up crying during the night with croupe. I got her in a steamy bathroom and a few minutes later Chad came in to tell me Jonas was awake so he took over with Jolene and I went to nurse Jonas. He didn't nurse long so I'm pretty sure he wasn't really hungry. He usually wakes up if he hears someone else crying.

After I put Jonas back in bed I asked Chad if he wanted me to take over but he let me go back to bed ~ thanks honey! Jolene slept all morning, it was after 10:00 when she got up. She seems to be doing fine now. I just hope the others don't get it. We don't want to have to miss or spread illness with the Plattners. We are supposed to be with the Plattners from Friday supper through Sunday supper. Kirk and Keri arrived home from Jamaica Tuesday night late and they will be home for about two weeks I think. For the Riley side, you can see what they are up to at www.plattnerfamily.com

A New Experience

or shall I say a reNewed experience. The Lord blessed me with 8 hours continuous sleep last night! I don't think that has happened in well over a year. Jonas is 10 1/2 months and you know the last few months of pregnancy there is no such thing as continuous 8 hours of sleep! Right Andrea?

I am thankful that Jonas is the first baby to do this to me. Maybe I was taking my rest for granted and needed a difficult year to help me appreciate what others go through that don't have the blessing of big fat babies that sleep through the night from early on. :)

I haven't had time to do much blogging lately, obviously what I have blogged have been very exciting happenings in my life!
