Plague?

I haven't been taking the time to blog lately and wasn't planning to today but thought I would get a little sympathy from someone.

The girls and I went outside to take a walk and Javan was going to babysit Jonas for me. Jesse was working on Math and Jared is on a semi-truck ride with Grandpa.

Imagine my disapointment to realize that Asian Lady Beetles are invading my home!!! :( If you are in the sun you are not safe but the shade is o.k. I was standing in the sun helping Jubilee get on her tennis shoes and kept having creepy bugs land on me, one of them bit me!!! There are literaly thousands of the things flying toward our house. I couldn't walk down the driveway without having them fly into me. I didn't even try, I was getting hit standing still.

At least it is providing a nature study, which is why I am on the computer in the first place. If we are going to live with them till the spring we can at least get to know them a little, LOL.

It reminds me of the ten plagues of Israel. Not to be able to walk around without having nasty bugs landing on you and biting you. Thankfully they like the sun, so I can at least enjoy the shade! I hope you have an autumn free of the "Ladies."


On another subject, the landscaping is done and I just have some shutters to paint so Chad can install them (I don't know when this will happen). I love how it all turned out and maybe I will get around to blogging some pictures sometime, or better yet maybe Jesse or Javan will do it for me.
