Tuesday we all went to the Wildlife Prairie Park.
We started off at the Bison and then went to the pavilion by the big slide for lunch and play. Looking back we should have saved the big slide for later because there were school groups there as well.
Johanna enjoying Jeremiah and I think it was mutual.
Daddy has their attention.
Common sight, Grandma taking pictures.
Johanna tried to jump on the wagon with Jonas but it started moving, she lifted her leg and just balanced herself so she wouldn’t fall off. Smart girl!
Here they planned it a little better. There was just a little slope here to give them a ride.
Johanna was trying to push Jonas down the slide.
Here I come Grandpa!
The BIG slide!
Johanna wasn’t a bit scared, she did it over and over again!
Jared – trying for less surface area so he could go faster. The children saw some others with wax paper and said we’ve got to take some with us next time.
The train ride was next.
Finally out to view the wildlife. We spent so much time at the slide that we only had about an hour left!
We only saw a few animals, it seemed really quiet.
I think Jonas was the only one to go over to the rooster and chickens. I guess when you have over 50 at home they just aren’t that exciting to most of us!
Johanna ringing the bell at the old schoolhouse.
We went out for supper and ran a few errands. Once home Grandma worked with the children making some cards. We have some stamps but Grandma has lots of extra fun stuff to make neat cards. A Cuttlebug dry embosses images into your paper. She also uses ribbons and glitter ~ loves the glitter ~ it adds a little sparkle!
Can you see Johanna below? I’ve looked at this picture several times and just noticed her!
Another fun day!
